Therapeutic Touch is a non-invasive, holistic approach to healing and is based on principles of an energy exchange between people. Many healers see themselves as channels for the healing energy, and believe that everyone potentially has this ability. Despite its name, therapeutic touch rarely involves physical contact between practitioner and patient. Instead, the Therapeutic Touch therapist will move his or her hands just above the body.
